Programmes Administrative Assistant (part time)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient Programmes Administrative Assistant for our busy Programmes Office. The Programmes Office exists to further the understanding and discussion of geographical issues through live events ranging from lectures and seminars to conferences and debates. This position would suit someone with an interest in contemporary geography who is well organised and has good attention to detail.

The post is part time, 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week), and one of the days worked must be Monday. This is a permanent appointment subject to successful completion of a probationary period of three months. The FTE salary range for this post is £19,778 - £20,405 per annum (£11,867-£12,243 pro rata) depending on experience and qualifications.

The Society offers a work experience programme for enthusiastic geographers, who are studying geography at university and also for geography ambassadors.

All placements are unpaid and based in London at the RGS-IBG. We do not pay expenses or provide accommodation.
