Any Fellow or member of the Society may nominate candidates to receive a Medal or Award.

Nominations should consist of a completed nomination form with a statement of 200-300 words outlining why the candidate should receive the award, a CV of the candidate and written support of approximately 200-300 words from two additional Fellows or members of the Society. Membership numbers of the proposer and supporters should be included in all correspondence.

The two supporters to the nomination should submit their letters to the Society independently of the proposer.

All nomination materials, including letters from the supporting Fellows/members should be sent to the Director’s Office by the nomination deadline of 28 February (E: director@rgs.org).
