The Society hold events in eight regions around England and Wales. Local volunteeer committees organise events such as lectures, debates, exhibitions and field visits.

Most events are open to both RGS-IBG Members and the general public. RGS-IBG Members may attend any UK event, not just those in your local area.

Furthermore, a branch in Hong Kong organises a lively programme.
