What is Delicious?
Delicious is a social bookmarking service that allows a user to tag, save, manage and share web pages from a centralised resource.
What are tags?
Each bookmark (an individual webpage) is organsied by adding descriptive tags (words that describe the bookmark). This makes the bookmark more accessible and easily organsied.
For example, www.rgs.org, could be described by the tags "geographical" and "learned_society".
Who manages the Society's bookmarks?
Our Delicious bookmarks are maintained by staff from accross areas of our work. Staff and researchers reccommend websites that they find interesting or frequently use and are relevant to our activities.
