The Royal Geographical Society with IBG and the Geographical Association are now offering a joint membership for teachers - Early Career Teacher. 

  Annual membership costs just £49 during the PGCE and induction/NQT year or £79 for the first 3 years following qualification.

As a member you will be able to:

• Attend discounted conferences and events across both organisations including free attendance to the GA annual conference (PGCE students only)
• Access to Geography in the News website
• Online access to the RGS-IBG Monday night lecture programme.
• Get online access to GA journals
• Receive GA magazine 3 times a year
• Mentoring and support programmes for Chartered Geographer (Teacher) and Geography Quality Marks

  Eligibility
Membership is open to those undertaking PGCE, Induction/NQT or in the first 3 years of teaching.  You can become a member at any time during the five years.

RGS-IBG and GA have created this membership to offer those new to teaching geography focused resources and a wealth of support and development opportunities.
