Fellowship offers the opportunity to network and to support the spread of geographical knowledge.

  Annual membership costs £82 (plus a one off joining fee of £30)

To find out more about becoming a Fellow see the guidelines found with the application form. As a Fellow you will be able to:

• attend our London and regional lectures
• get expert advice on planning fieldwork and expeditions
• use the Foyle Reading Room
• attend a wide range of conferences, seminars and events
• participate in a choice of twenty five research groups
• opt to receive any of our three academic journals – Transactions, Area and Geographical Journal or popular magazine 'Geographical'
• use FRGS in your title 
• apply for professional status as a Chartered Geographer

  How to join?
Simply complete the Fellowship application form and return with payment to the Membership Office at 1, Kensington Gore, London,
SW7 2AR.

  Help us through Gift Aid
If you are not claiming your subscription as a professional expense, please tick the gift aid box on the application form. You can increase the value of your payment and enable us to reclaim 28% tax on the subscription. This applies to UK tax payers only.

Pay by direct debit and we reduce the joining fee to £15.00. Using direct debit helps to save on our administrative costs.
