button  Rose Review of Primary Education
The RGS-IBG believes that if we are not to diminish young peoples’ understanding and curiosity about their world, we need to ensure that every primary child has access to well planned and well-taught geography lessons.

button  About our consultation responses
We contribute to around 10 consultations per year on issues relating to geographical research and education.

The issues are as diverse as geography – from scientific ethics to encouraging more pupils to do fieldwork at school.

Examples of consultations by UK organizations that we have responded to include:

  • government departments
  • research bodies
  • higher education teaching organizations
  • research funding councils
  • royal commissions
