Geographical information and research has never been more relevant to policy decisions being made on a range of issues, such as migration and climate change, with geographers at the heart of debates about the future of places, environments and communities.
The Society works to demonstrate and champion the role which geographical knowledge, expertise and research contributes to policy and the economy, and promote the importance of geography in education and research, including schools and further education. |
