Newsletters

All Chartered Geographer (Teachers) and Chartered Geographers who are teachers from pre 2006 will be sent a regular update newsletter by email. From January 2014, these will no longer be available through this page.

How can you help us?

As a CGeog there are a variety of ways you can support us in expanding the network. If you are interested in helping with any of the following activities please email Claire at cgeogteacher@rgs.org:

  • Mentoring aspiring CGeog (Teachers)
  • Attending or speaking at regional CPD network events
  • Encouraging colleagues to apply for the accreditatiom
  • Supplying us with quotes and/or pictures for us to use on the website
  • Offering guidance as to what further information and advice we can offer
  • Ensuring you use your CGeog post nominal where possible
  • Keeping up to date with your Fellowship and annual CGeog administration fees
  • Emailing through your previous year's CPD log in January of each year (an email reminder will be sent)
  • Helping with resource writing/focus groups/consultancy
  • Running your own CPD network
  • Marketing Chartered Geographer (Teacher)
