For items not online, we also carry out picture research on your behalf (we may charge a fee for this).

  Scanning and photography
Scanning / photography of originals is subject to the condition of the original and appropriate fee.

  Licensing
We are happy to supply you with a licence fee quote for proposed usage. Reduced rates may be offered for academic research projects, lectures or other strictly non-profit contexts.

  Images for personal use
We sell limited edition prints. We are happy to consider requests for one-off prints. Certain images may be unavailable for copyright or preservation reasons.

  Moving footage
Our moving footage is available through Archival Footage Sales at the British Film Institute. Please contact them directly.
