21st Century Challenges

21st Century Challenges

Our 21st Century Challenges programme engages people with key social, environmental and economic challenges. It recognises that geography is at the heart of many of these challenges and is integral to tackling them.

Through a series of parallel events created for public and policy-making audiences, we'll examine issues within the same broad topic but tailored to meet the needs of these different groups. Public panel discussions are designed to engage and inspire wide ranging audiences, whilst Policy Forum discussions delve a little deeper in order to promote knowledge exchange between the geographical community, practitioners, policy-makers and other interested parties.

To complement the discussions, the 21st Century Challenges
website and dedicated social media channels will provide up-to-date and accessible information and supporting material.
