Field Risk Management
Vehicle and Accommodation Safety

These workshops are designed to support organisations and individuals to develop effective mechanisms for managing safety in the field and minimising risk in expeditions and fieldwork for research and educational purposes in the UK or overseas.

The day will be divided into two sessions. Candidates are invited to attend all or part of the day.

Morning Workshop: Dynamic Risk Assessment

Participants will be given the tools to develop dynamic risk assessments and crisi management plans. Scenario based discussion will look at practical solutions to fieldwork safety.

Afternoon Workshop: Vehicle and Accommodation Safety

Training will cover how to plan for the use of vehicles and accommodation, including field checks and field risk management.

Cost: Full day training £190 (including VAT), Half day training £140 (including VAT), Concession £75 (including VAT)
