Bullet  Course news:
This course was originally administered and examined by OCR providing an NVQ level 3 qualification. OCR has recently chosen to discontinue this qualification and the last exam was sat by candidates in February 2008. As of 30 April 2008 the Royal Geographical Society with IBG will be taking over administration of the course. The Society plans to review the current course curriculum and assessment methodology with those that are keen to run the course in the future. It is hoped a new examining body will then be found to take on the qualification.  In the meantime, courses  will continue to be offered  by the Society and others.

Bullet  If you would be interested in being involved in the future of this course or have been running these courses through your organisation, please contact Geography Outdoors.
