Course news
This course was originally administered and examined by OCR providing an NVQ level 3 qualification. OCR has recently chosen to discontinue this qualification, with the last exams sat in February 2008.
As of 30 April 2008, the Royal Geographical Society with IBG have taken over administration of the course. The Society plans to review the current course curriculum and assessment methodology with those that are keen to run the course in the future. It is hoped a new examining body will be found. In the meantime, courses will continue to be offered by the Society and others.
