Vehicle Safety Training

Vehicle safety training for expedition leaders

 Saturday 17 March 2012 - Cancelled

Organised in association with Fieldskills, this one-day workshop gives those using vehicles abroad the ability to assess and manage vehicle safety.

The workshop looks at pre-planning vehicle safety, what vehicle checks can be done in the field, and how to develop practical and effective risk management strategies for the use of vehicles outside UK.

It is aimed at group leaders and supervising staff, helping them recognise and minimise risks associated with using vehicles in parts of the world where vehicle safety standards are different to those in UK. It is particularly relevant to those organisations wishing to achieve compliance with British Standard BS 8848 (2007+A1 2009).

Bullet If you are interested in this course please contact Fieldskills directly at admin@fieldskills.com

Bullet Aspects of vehicle safety on expedition will also be covered in the BS8848 Compliance Workshop.
