INGWE Leopard Research Assistant Programme

INGWE conduct research into the behaviour of leopards and other carnivores outside formally protected areas in Mpumalanga, South Africa. Currently, data on the density and behaviour of Leopards outside protected areas is limited. Data collected by INGWE is used in the formulation of wildlife management policies. Volunteers can join the project on a four week placement, aiming to provide training in bush, wildlife and environmental skills, practical research and animal tracking techniques. There are also placements available on an 11 week, field guide training course.

Details on the Leopard Research Programme is available at http://www.ingweleopard.com/. For more information on volunteering placements see www.researchcam.com or email carol@researchcam.com.
