Expedition & fieldwork special advice units

We are supported by a wide range of individuals, many of them members of the RGS-IBG, who generously give their time to help those planning expeditions and fieldwork.

Some of these volunteers have created special advice units to reflect their particular areas of expertise and interest.

  • Remote medicine and health
  • Mapping and the use of geographical information systems
  • Inclusive and accessible expeditions

More detailed information on the work of these groups can be obtained by following the links on the left.

If you wish to be involved in any of these groups either seeking or giving help and advice please contact us.
