Medical advice for expeditions and fieldwork

Medical advice for expedition planners is given through:

Bullet  The acclaimed Expedition Medicine Manual edited by David Warrell and Sarah Anderson provides information on preventing and treating medical problems in challenging environment (US and Spanish editions also available).

Bullet  The Medical Cell also provides guidelines on:

Bullet  Wilderness Medical Training

This course starts where conventional first aid training stops. It is designed for small expedition groups, solo travellers, media personnel, climbers, trek leaders/teachers, yachtsmen and any other people operating in remote areas overseas where medical help is not readily available.
