The Society offers a wide range of advice, training and resources for those planning fieldwork and scientific expeditions.

Geography Outdoors offer a range of training courses to help prepare you for expeditions and fieldwork, from safety management training to fieldwork techniques. They can also offer helpful advice on planning expeditions.

The Society also offers a range of resources that may be applicable to your research project including the
Collections achives for historical geographical expeditions, and journals for past and present geographical research.
