Impacts and findings of projects supported

The Society's Grant Recipients produce a wide range of outputs from their fieldwork and research projects. These are both academic - in the form of papers, scientific publications and academic lectures - as well as talks and exhibits that reach a wider public audience.

A radio broadcast » Journey of a Lifetime recipient Jas Jhalli recorded a BBC Radio 4 programme as about the lives South America's legendry cowboys, which aired in September 2012.	Monday night lecture » Ralph Brown Expedition Award recipient Helen Findlay studied ocean acidification in the Canadian Arctic. Helen delivered a lecture on her research at the Society.	An exhibition » Neville Shulman Challenge Award recipient Nick Danziger produced a photographic exhibition on the impact of the Millennium Development Goals.
A magazine feature » Geographical Fieldwork Grant recipients from Royal Holloway, wrote a feature for Geographical magazine on their community mapping project in Ugunja, Western Kenya.	Educational resources » RGS-IBG Postgraduate Research Award recipient Ralitsa Hiteva linked up with a geography teacher to produce resources for the classroom based on Ralitsa's project on Energy Security.
