Learning & Leading promotes learning and personal development through fieldwork, Gap year experiences and undergraduate research apprenticeships.
288 young people and 112 teachers will directly benefit through Learning & Leading placements - young people and teachers who, through challenging circumstances or lack of opportunity, have not been able to undertake such work before.
We are providing carefully managed opportunities for learning and personal development for:
A Level students: through fully funded geography fieldwork summer schools. Running 25-29 August 2008 in Swanage, Dorset

Participants’ learning experiences will be shared widely, to encourage more young people to undertake fieldwork, get the best from gap years, and achieve within their studies.
