The Society produces summary statements on topical policy subjects such as water, transport, flooding, planning and many other geographical issues.

The statements are predominantly an output of the Environment and Society Forum conferences and meetings that bring together leading thinkers and practioners in specialist fields. A panel of advisors help shape the programme and ensure that it addresses issues high up on the political and environmental agenda.

We also produce other policy and research documents, such as on issues affecting the health of the geography  in schools and universities.
