Christmas Cards
Celebrate the season by sending photographic cards from the Society's Picture Library. Choose from three cards:
- David Walls' Namibian Quiver tree
- Herbert Ponting's stark Ice Grotto image
- illustration from the first plate of Mercator’s edition of Ptolemy's Geography entitled 'Universalis tabula iuxta Ptolemeum', published in Cologne, 1578
Price: £5 per pack of six cards (each card A5-sized). Internal message reads: ‘Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year’. Postage & packing free to UK members. For overseas orders, additional postage may be charged.

Antique Maps Calendar 2009
This calendar, specially published from the Society's Collections, features twelve antique maps, including cartography by Saxton, Mercator and Ortelius.
Available in all good UK bookshops and in Europe, although members & Fellows can purchase directly from the Society.
Price: £9.99 postage and packing free to UK members.
Christmas Limited Edition Print
This beautiful hand printed etching, showing the front and rear elevations of the Society’s Lowther Lodge building and the elevation of the Society’s contemporary Pavilion, along with architectural motifs found around building, has been specially commissioned from print maker Karen Keogh, ARE.
The hand printed and coloured etching is available, unframed, in a numbered, strictly limited edition of 50; print size 27.5 x 13.5cm. Each print comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity and is available exclusively from the Society.
