Undergraduate Scheme in Applied Global Ethics

  • BA (Hons) Peace and International Relations

Level 3-year undergraduate degree programmes              

Aim A learning experience that aims to:

  • Provide a flexible, supportive and stimulating learning environment to enable and encourage students from diverse backgrounds and levels of achievement to realise their potential
  • Promote the design, development and delivery of a challenging academic curriculum in applied global ethics which draws on the widespread specialist expertise that exists within the university
  • Foster the development of the practical application of transferable personal, intellectual and subject skills with a particular emphasis on skills of reading and writing to critically reflect
  • Underpin the curriculum with an ethical culture which actively encourages the development of students as global citizens within communities
  • Enhance and encourage the development of independent and critical thought amongst students as a necessary foundation for their future life-long learning and employability
