Department for International Development (DFID) In addition to its international work to alleviate poverty, DFID works in the UK to ensure that the British public are educated and informed about development issues. The web pages contain policy documents, programme information and details of funding schemes concerning DFID’s Development Awareness work within the UK.

Development Education Association (DEA) The DEA promotes the global dimension in education at a variety of levels: school, youth work, adult, community and further education and higher education.

Global Dimension Global Dimension is a free website managed by the Development Education Association on behalf of the Department for International Development which supports school teachers to integrate global perspectives into lesson planning and teaching.

Global Studies Association (GSA) The GSA aims to provide a forum for encouraging world-wide exchanges between people working in all fields of research and enquiry related to global studies by organising regular conferences, setting up thematic, national and regional study sub-groupings and by operating in close association with the Global Networks journal.

International Education Week (IEW) An annual opportunity to celebrate the benefits of an international dimension at all levels of education.
