The Academy (York office) The Higher Education Academy aims to improve the student learning experience in Higher Education through the development and transfer of good teaching and learning practices in all subject disciplines. The central Academy provides institutional support, supports subject and staff development, and seeks to influence national policy.
Subject Centre Networks The Higher Education Academy’s 24 Subject Centre Networks provide discipline-based support. Each centre engages in a wide variety of activities to support practitioners, subject departments and discipline communities.
