From 2004 to 2006, the RGS-IBG received funding from the Department for International Development (DFID) for the Global Perspectives in Higher Education project. The project is now completed. Its goal was to assess the current status of global perspectives in Higher Education (HE) at discipline, institution and department levels and to make recommendations as to how to strengthen the global dimension in UK institutions.
