Climate Change

The Climate Change Research Group's (CCRG) interests range across the broad spectrum of climate change perspectives. Modellers and remote sensing specialists exchange thoughts and ideas with environmental management and human impact researchers, and learn from the cross-disciplinary environment that we foster.

Aims of the group include:

  • supporting younger generation of academic researchers, to stimulate debate with their work and provoke questions across disciplinary boundaries
  • promoting research by geographers engaged in climate change
  • promoting the visibility of geography as a discipline in this subject area
  • bringing together broad interests to strengthen linkages between academic, policy and practitioner communities
  • providing a forum for networking and dissemination within the community of British geographers

Chair: Dr Charlie Williams
