British Society for Geomorphology

The British Society for Geomorphology (BSG) is a national multi-disciplinary society whose object is ‘the advancement of research and education in geomorphology’.

The BSG is an independent group affiliated to both the RGS-IBG and the Geological Society of London. The group awards small research and publication grants to its membership, and makes annual awards for distinguished contributions to geomorphology.

Members are kept in touch with news and events by a regular newsletter and also collaborates in the publication of the journal ‘Earth Surface Processes and Landforms’ which is available to members at a reduced rate.

Technical bulletins, research monographs and guides to classic landforms, and other books and journals have been sponsored by the group.
