News
Undergraduate dissertation prize 2008:
- Awarded to Clare Gillespie, School of GeoSciences, University of Edinburgh, title: "The 'leptogenic' environment: to what extent can an affluent area be considered to reduce the risk of obesity for all its residents?"
- Clare receives a cheque for £100, will have her dissertation abstract published in the journal Health & Place and will receive a year's annual subscription to the journal.
- The Geography of Health Research Group is indebted to Health & Place and to the publishers, Elsevier, for their generosity in this regard.
