Migration- Leeds and York

Migration refers to movements of people, in this case movements of people into and out of Leeds or York. According to the 2001 Census a migrant is “a person with a different address one year before the Census to that on Census day”

This resource is based around ArcView GIS 3.3. It helps students to understand and be able to input shapefiles and census data into ArcView version 3.3 and then to produce maps showing migration patterns in Leeds and York.
