Careers with geography

Geography is a broad based academic degree which is well respected by employers. Geography graduates have one of the highest rates of graduate employment.

Geographers enter a very wide range of career areas and put simply there is no such thing as a geography job, there are jobs that geographers do. Studying geography provides you with valuable skills and a firm base for life-long learning.

Once you have enrolled on a geography degree, it is important to research carefully before, for example, making decisions and choosing module options in your undergraduate course or securing work experience. After you have done your research you will be able to plan and finally set targets for achieving your career choice.
