Fieldwork & expeditions

Investigating the world in all its natural and human diversity and complexity is integral to geography and the Society. Our field research, expeditions and outdoor learning centre offers advice, CPD and training courses for youth leaders, teachers and field researchers, including the famous Explore weekend conference. Reference resources are found in our Foyle Reading Room, and the online expedition reports and field centres databases. Grant support is available. We are also actively engaged in outdoor learning and fieldwork policy in the UK. Join us and become part of the community.
