Submit Paper Proposal

Submit Session Proposal

Members of the geographical and related communities are invited to propose sessions for the RGS-IBG Annual International Conference 2012.  

If you have any questions about proposing a session for conference, please contact the organisers at AC2012@rgs.org.  

The deadline for proposing a session for AC2012 is Tuesday 31 January 2012. Your session proposal should include the full details and running order of papers (including abstracts and author details) appearing in your session.

Please read the guidelines for participation and suggestions for session formats before submitting your session proposal.

Please send your completed session proposal form to AC2012@rgs.org.

If you do not receive a confirmation of receipt within 48 hours, please re-send your session proposal.

  Dates and deadlines

  • 31 January 2012
    Deadline for submitting sessions (with paper and author information, including abstracts) to the conference organisers. 
     
  • Late February 2012
    Conference organisers confirm acceptance of proposed sessions.
     
  • 9 March 2012
    Deadline for submitting individual paper proposals to sessions organised by conference planning committee.
     
  • Late March 2012
    Conference organisers publish provisional programme and timetable for feedback.  The programme is expected to reach "final" status by early May 2012.
