Call for Sessions open: Session organisers advertise Calls for Papers and receive paper proposals.
Session organisers may advertise their CfP on the conference website by sending a copy to AC2012@rgs.org.

Deadline for session organisers to submit completed session proposal forms to the conference organisers.
November 2011 to March 2012
Call for Papers open: Prospective delegates submit paper proposals to either a) organised sessions (by Research Groups or independent organisers), or b) 'open' sessions to be convened by RGS-IBG conference planning committee.
January 2012 to end of May 2012
Online registration open. Deadline for reduced rate ('early-bird') registrations is 16 May 2012.
Late February 2012
Conference organisers confirm acceptance of proposed sessions.
9 March 2012
Deadline for prospective delegates to submit individual paper proposals to open sessions.
Late March 2012
Conference organisers confirm acceptance of papers for 'open' sessions and organise papers into themed sessions.
Mid-April 2012
Provisional conference programme shared with Research Groups and session organisers for feedback
Late April 2012
Provisional conference programme shared with delegates on the conference website. Session organisers and presenters invited to make corrections and request final changes to titles and abstracts.
16 May 2012
Deadline for reduced rate ('early-bird') registration for conference.
Early June 2012
Conference programme final - no further changes to printed programme book possible, but content changes may be made to the online programme.
