Exhibitions for hire

The Society's exhibitions represent the 'cream' of our historical collections of maps, photographs, books and documents.

They illustrate the interaction between peoples, cultures, places and environments across the globe.

Our exhibitions cover historical and modern themes.

Highlights include 4 exhibitions, part of the Crossing Continents project based on Africa, China, the Punjab and Afghanistan, and our most recent exhibition: Hidden Histories of Exploration.

Other exhibitions focus on Scott and Shackleton's expeditions, and an exhibition from our current artist in residence.

  Exhibitions available for hire:

  • Hidden Histories of Exploration
  • Antarctic Witness
  • Changing climate, changing lives?
  • Imaging Everest: The Sherpa's tale
  • Lost Landscapes
  • Unseen Island Life
  • Visions of the World
