Free Schools Workshops
Creative workshops for Key Stage 2 and 3 pupils will accompany each of the Crossing Continents exhibitions. For current events please visit the Pupil Workshops page.
- Chinese Exhibition: Workshops in June/July 2008
- Punjab Exhibition: Workshops in October/November 2008.
- African Exhibition: Workshops took place in October 2007 and January 2008.
- Muslim Exhibition: Workshops took place in February 2007.
Free Online Resources for Key Stage 2/3 practitioners
Educational resources are being developed to accompany each of the above exhibitions and will relate to the geography, history and citizenship curricula at Key Stages 2, 3 and 4:
- Muslim Exhibition: Online resources entitled 'Afghanistan: Moving Stories' are currently available.
- African Exhibition: Online resources exploring the stories of Africa's explorers and the geography of Eastern Africa are now online.
- Chinese Exhibition: Online resources entitled 'China - Snapshots in Time' are currently available.
- Punjab Exhibition: Online resources will be available from November 2008.

How you can get involved
Trialling resources
Each of our exhibitions will be accompanied by a series of online educational resources for primary and secondary schools. Teachers can assist with the development and testing of these resources.
Hosting an exhibition
Museums, galleries, libraries, archives, heritage organisations and community venues are invited to participate by hosting the exhibitions which will tour nationally.
