The story of mapmaking - Richard Stone

Maps are endlessly fascinating. Follow the story of cartography from the medieval mappa mundi to the first county maps and the advent of the Ordnance Survey. Joint event with Lichfield Civic Society.

Emerging geographies of food - Dr Louise Manning

Land or water grabbing? Dr Louise Manning, Senior Lecturer in Food Policy and Management at Harper Adams University, will discuss the concept of large-scale land acquisitions in the context of emerging geographies of food. Joint event with Birmingham and Midland Institute.
