Travelling the length of the Amazon River - Jacki Hill Murphy

Jacki’s journey took her from a stream in Ecuador to the Atlantic in Brazil, a journey of 4,200 miles by dugout canoes with many colourful adventures along the way.

Forensic geology - Dr Alastair Ruffell

 Thursday 1 March 7.30pm-9.00pm (drinks from 7.00pm)
 Lecture with reception (Belfast)

Using Earth Science techniques in the search for hidden objects (bodies, buried materials) and in trace evidence analysis, Dr Ruffell has worked on many cases of murder, suicide and the missing.
