Field Visit to Port Eynon, Gower

Behind the Scenes Tour of Lowther Lodge

Britain from the Air

A date for your diaries as the Britain from the Air exhibition launches formally in Bath. As part of the launch the Society’s President, Michael Palin, will be giving a talk in Bath Abbey.

Geography Outdoors has teamed up with our corporate benefactors Land Rover to provide a practical driver training course covering key driving and safety techniques for people undertaking expeditions or fieldwork in remote areas.

An holistic paradigm for volcanic risk assessment: Volcán de Colima, Mexico

Wind, Waves, Waste or Whatever

Mary Kingsley: A remarkable Victorian explorer and an account of the re-enactment of her 1895 climb up Mount Cameroon

When Jacki and her party climbed Mt Cameroon they found out a great deal more about Mary Kingsley as a female explorer, than they had expected.
