Google Earth training for teachers and educators

These practical workshops show teachers and expedition organisations how to create virtual fieldwork using Google Earth.
Participants get hands-on experience with digital cameras and GPS units, creating mini-fieldwork projects, and transformed data into a Google Earth virtual journey.

Advanced Google Earth training
Wednesday 22 October 2008 at RGS-IBG, London
This course is designed for people who have already attended the introduction course or are regular advanced users of Google Earth. It will cover how to integrate field data into Google Earth, creating geo-referenced graphs as well as choropleth maps that can be used in the classroom.
Cost: £141(£120+ VAT). Free for those with Chartered Geographer (Teacher) status.
