The Society has teamed up with our corporate benefactors Land Rover to provide a practical driver training course covering driving and safety techniques for people undertaking expeditions, research or fieldwork in remote areas.
Delegates will benefit from Land Rover’s expertise to learn how vehicles can be used to full potential in demanding situations.
Individuals rather than groups are encouraged to apply as places are limited.
Cost: £150 incl. VAT for two days. A packed lunch will be provided on site. Accommodation not provided.
A full outline for the course and a booking form can be downloaded from the links on the right.
"The Society off-road course provided by Land Rover provides exceptional training for all levels of driver. The skills learnt are invaluable to anyone planning an expedition and no expedition is complete without a Land Rover". (Robert Brock, May 2008)
