Frank Gardner OBE and Benedict Allen

 Monday 5 December
 Monday night lecture

Frank and Benedict tell the story of their arduous trek in search of Papua New Guinea's elusive birds of paradise for a BBC2 documentary.

Spirals in time - Dr Helen Scales

 Monday 12 December
 Monday night lecture

From shadowy mangroves to the deep oceans, Helen will chart the course of seashells through history and their impact on modern-day technologies.
