This annual open regional committee meeting is intended for Members and Fellows based in Yorkshire and the North East, although any RGS-IBG Member with an interest in the region is welcome to attend. As a small committee in a large region, we are working hard to develop a modern programme of activities which serves, and is accessible to, the widest possible range of geographical interests across Yorkshire and the North East. At this meeting, we will be reflecting on the Society AGM in the company of Matt Pycroft, Vice President of Membership and chair of the regions committee, and thinking ahead to our plans for 2024-25. Join us online to see how a Regional Committee operates, and have your say on how we can champion geography in our region!
