Hattie’s interest in people, and the political and environmental spaces that they live in, have taken her on fieldwork and expeditions across the Middle East and Asia, with her most recent expedition, The Big Steppe (2017) investigating causational factors behind increased rural to urban migration of nomadic communities in Mongolia.
An experienced project and research lead, Hattie currently works for the UK’s leading AI company, Faculty, where she overseas the delivery of cutting-edge technology for Government. Prior to this Hattie was a civil servant, successfully completing the Fast Stream leadership programme and working in a range of roles including; international policy work for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, and during the pandemic overseas covid analysis for the UK Health Security Agency.
