The Society runs two grants for small-scale research projects, either desk based or in the field.
Small Research Grants
Several awards of up to £3,000 for original desk and / or field-based research. Aimed at scholarly researchers early in their career, these awards are available to Society members and Fellows.
EPSRC Geographical Research Grants
The Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council provides a number of grants up to £3,000 annually for research related to EPSRC.
Priority topics for the EPSRC award include:
- energy demand / use
- climate change
- sustainable urban environments
