This CPD event is for teachers with little or no previous GIS experience.

This event is for teachers who have completed the Teach with GIS one-day CPD course and wish to further develop their knowledge and skills. Anyone who has previously attended Teach with GIS may sign up.

This session is aimed at primary school teachers and will give a range of ideas on full investigations that can be carried out on the school site as well top tips for carrying out fieldwork.

In this special partnership event, the implications of AI for history and geography in schools, and how best to harness the power of AI for teachers and for pupils, will be explored.
EVC update workshop
This course gives trained EVCs the opportunity to revalidate while looking at current issues and sharing good practice.
EVC training visit leaders and managing critical incidents
This course is intended to give experienced EVCs a framework and resources for providing training for visit leaders in their own schools. The course is accredited by the Outdoor Education Advisers’ Panel (OEAP) and training will make use of current government literature relating to school visits.

This online event will introduce Digimap for Schools and how it can be used across the KS2 and KS3 curriculum.

In this online session, we will be asking geography teachers to share their ideas and innovation with the teacher community.
Getting to grips with data analysis
This session run by the Field Studies Council (in partnership with the Royal Geographical Society) will cover a range of descriptive and statistical techniques to improve your skills, knowledge and confidence in data analysis and statistics.
