As the UK's learned society and professional body for geography, we champion and advance the discipline and work with many different audiences. We exist to enhance understanding of our world.
Geography has never been more important in helping us to understand our rapidly changing world.
As the UK's professional body for geography, we help to maintain standards in the discipline by providing training, accreditation and professional networking. We work with geographers in business, the public sector, higher education and schools, as well as those undertaking independent fieldwork and expeditions.
