We're seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the work of Geography Outdoors, the Society’s centre supporting field research, exploration and outdoor learning, which provides information, advice and training to anyone wishing to undertake these activities, predominantly overseas.
This post offers a great opportunity for a geography graduate starting out in an administrative career who enjoys team work, a busy pace, and who can learn quickly and pay attention to detail. The working environment offers scope for personal development through training and the gaining of experience. The job involves substantial routine work of the sort that is vital in underpinning an effective office, together with opportunities to support small projects, and in due course, to take on more responsibility.
This is a permanent appointment subject to successful completion of a probationary period of three months. The salary range for this post is £21,723–£22,412 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
