Chrissy Mitchell
Dr Chrissy Mitchell works in flood and coastal erosion risk management at the Environment Agency. Chrissy is an expert in climate, flood and coastal adaptation and works on developing innovative national risk management strategies in response to flooding and coastal erosion.
Rob O'Hanlon
Rob is an experienced geography teacher who runs an award-winning eco club. He has led climate courses, supported curriculum development and mentored colleagues.
Benjamin Sacks
Benjamin is Professor of Political Geography, most recently based at the RAND School of Public Policy. He has a PhD from Princeton University, where alongside his studies, he worked towards advocating for geography's place in international studies.
Rebecca Brett
Rebecca is currently the All Our Futures project coordinator at The Junction Foundation, which involves overseeing youth-led climate projects. She has a BSc in Natural Hazards Management with International Development Studies from the University of Chester.
Lewis Howell
Lewis is a Palynologist working for Petrosat - an energy and stratigraphic consultancy. He has a PhD in Quaternary Science and degree in Physical Geography from Aberystwyth University. He is a climate change, palaeontology and environmental management expert.
Alastair Baglee
Alastair is a Global Director for Climate Risk & Resilience at Anthesis - a global sustainability consultancy. He has worked with community and indigenous groups all over the world on climate and environmental issues, and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Oxford, University of Bath and Imperial College London.
Albany Bradley
Albany is a Senior GIS Consultant at AECOM, using data to solve real-world environmental and instrastructure challenges. She has a Geography (BSc) degree and MSc in Environmental Management from the Lancaster University, and volunteers at a local coding club.
Momin Ashraf
Momin is a Geospatial Consultant at Satellite Applications Catapult. He has a Human Geography degree and a Master's in Sustainable Urban Development from the University of Oxford. He uses his expertise in geospatial data to work with governments and NGOs in conflict and post conflict zones.
Kenny Nixon
Kenny Nixon is a Commanding Officer for the British Army. Kenny is passionate about the multi-disciplinary role geography has played throughout his career; supporting him in operational and strategic planning all around the world.
Andrew Robinson
Andrew has a BSc in Geography with Natural Hazards and MSc in Global Urban Development and Planning. Whilst studying, Andrew undertook placements at Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre and EduCARE India. He has worked as a GIS analyst and is currently a nature-based solutions consultant at Greengage Environmental.
Chiyasmi Devi
Chiyasmi Devi is a teacher and researcher, currently working as a geography teacher in London and academic mentor for young people internationally. She specialises in sustainable cities and urban geography and has completed research with Climate Refugees and Unaccompanied Minors in Spain.
Veryan Blake
Veryan Blake has over 10 years experience as a Head of Geography and currently holds positions as Head of Geography and Associated Head of KS4 at an international school in Rome, Italy. She has written for Teaching Geography and IB Review and works with a local refugee centre in Rome.
