Alastair Baglee
Alastair is a Global Director for Climate Risk & Resilience at Anthesis - a global sustainability consultancy. He has worked with community and indigenous groups all over the world on climate and environmental issues, and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Oxford, University of Bath and Imperial College London.
Albany Bradley
Albany is a Senior GIS Consultant at AECOM, using data to solve real-world environmental and instrastructure challenges. She has a Geography (BSc) degree and MSc in Environmental Management from the Lancaster University, and volunteers at a local coding club.
Rosa Vasquez Espinoza
Rosa is Founder and Executive Director of Amazon Research Internacional, where she leads conservation initiatives that integrate modern science with indigenous knowledge to protect Amazonian biodiversity. Rosa is a National Geographic Explorer, and her work has been featured in The New York Times, National Geographic, and BBC.
Momin Ashraf
Momin is a Geospatial Consultant at Satellite Applications Catapult. He has a Human Geography degree and a Master's in Sustainable Urban Development from the University of Oxford. He uses his expertise in geospatial data to work with governments and NGOs in conflict and post conflict zones.
John Snelling
John is a Head of Geography and Chair of the Geographical Association's Independent Schools' Special Interest Group. He has extensive experience with supporting students with applying to study geography at university, and has worked as a coach and mentor for teachers and apsiring RGS Fellows.
Matthew Leaver
Matthew is the Global GIS Platform Director for Arcadis, a data-driven consultancy company that works to deliver sustainable solutions to global challanges like the climate crisis. He has 20-years experience in GIS and is a past Chair of the Association for Geographic Information.
Jeremy Hidderley
Jeremy Hidderley works in the water industry as an Associate Director of Geospatial and Asset Management at AECOM. He has over 10 years experience in geographic analysis, working with water engineers and modellers as a data specialist. Jeremy specialises in data collection, analysis and data visualisation, in addition to GIS.
Liz Fox-Tucker
Liz is the Professional and Policy Manager at the Royal Geographical Society (RGS). Her role includes advocating for geographical careers and professional engagement. Prior to joining the RGS, she worked for the Department for Education and Rural Affairs (Defra) as an environmental scientist and geographer.
Vanessa Pilley
Vanessa Pilley is a Senior Director at the Department for Environment and Rural Affairs (Defra). Vanessa's work specialises in environmental risks and long-term challenges such as climate change. Currently she works within Defra's Ocean Sustainability Strategy Team.
